The AION Y starts as low as $15,000. This is the price for the basic model of the AION Y with 460 km of range. Then you have models with 500 km and 600 km of range. The price for the 600 km range model is about $24,800.
Both AION and Xpeng are fairly new car brands that have been introduced in recent years. The main difference is that Xpeng is a bit more higher end manufacturer and competes with the likes of Tesla and BYD. While AION is more in the entry level market of cheap EVs.
The import fees really depend on your country of residence. What you can do in this situation is to call your local authorities and ask them how much you can expect to pay for a certain vehicle. Just make sure that you list the make, model, year, equipment, battery pack, and powertrain. Since all these factors affect the fees.
Importing an EV from China involves a few steps. The first thing you want to do is find a supplier. For example, SpeedX. Then you can request a quote. Once we agree on the price, you will need to sign a purchase agreement. In this agreement, all of the steps in the transaction will be clearly listed. Then, you can do an inspection on the vehicle and the last step will involve shipping the car to your location. SpeedX does not offer a warranty. The one that is dealing with warranties is the manufacturer. But if you need something like a user manual or spare parts, we will connect you to the manufacturer.
