The genesis of the AVATR Technology Co. Ltd can be traced back to 2018 when fellow Chinese EV manufacturers Nio and Changan Automobile joined forces and took the initiative to create a new automobile brand with the main focus of creating modern electric vehicles that are more technologically advanced than anything that has come before.
After Nio withdrew to go on a journey of their own, Changan collaborated with Huaweri and popular EV battery maker CATL to come up with what we now know as AVATR Technology.
Headquartered in Chongqing, AVATR pulled the covers off their first concept SUV named the E11, which would later go on sale as the AVATR 11 in November of 2022.

“Emotional Intelligence, Unlimited Progression” is the ethos of the 011, which is limited to just 500 units worldwide and is the fruit of a collaboration between AVATR, Matthew M. William (MMW), and Nader Faghihzadeh.
The 011 is the first model in AVATR’s “0” series, which is set to be the brand’s highest-end lineup that will push the boundaries in automotive styling. The AVATR Black color scheme of the 011 provides the perfect example of this.
