One of the main selling points of the BYD Tang is its exterior design. In 2022 this model was completely redesigned. The redesigned BYD Tang has sleeker lines and an overall more aerodynamic shape. From which this model benefits a lot.
With this new design this model not only looks great but also has an incredible range of 530 km since the drag coefficient is so low.

The BYD Tang is not only a comfortable cruiser but also a high-performance model. This model implements a dual motor setup with AWD system that allows the BYD Tang to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in only 4.9 seconds. Which for a vehicle of this size is very quick.
The BYD Tang is a model that starts as low as $43,000. This makes it one of the most affordable models in this segment, even more affordable than the Tesla Model Y.
BYD and Tesla both make electric cars. Both of these companies compete with each other for the most sales in this EV segment. The only difference between them is that BYD is a Chinese brand, while Tesla is an American brand owned by Elon Musk.
The fees you will have to pay to import the car depend on your country of residence. Not all countries have the same laws. In some countries, EVs are regarded as eco-friendly and do not have to deal with big taxation, while in others this isn’t the case. So, calling your local customs office and asking about the fees before you buy a Chinese EV is a good idea.
Importing an electric car from China is a process that has a few steps. First, you have to find a supplier, for example SpeedX. Then you will have to sign an agreement with us and do an inspection and pay for the vehicle. Then, your car will be shipped to your location and you will have to pay the local fees for importing and registering the car in your country.
SpeedX does not offer warranties. The manufacturer is the one that offers warranty on their vehicle. But if you have any trouble and you need user manuals or spare parts, we will be more than happy to connect you with the manufacturer.
We are a company with long experience working in the Chinese market. SpeedX was founded by Kenson, who has more than 10 years of experience in shipping cars abroad and we also employ 30 other people. These include brokers, buyers, programmers, and managers. If you decide to purchase a car from us, you will sign an agreement. In this agreement all of the steps of the transaction will be listed. So, the process is fully transparent.
The range of the BYD Tang EV is rated at 530 km. This model comes with only one battery pack so, unfortunately we don’t have a longer range model.

In order for a car to be sold in China it has to pass the safety testing. Long gone are the days when Chinese cars were considered to be unsafe. So, the BYD Tang meets the C-NCAP requirements and performs fairly well on the crash tests.
