The most expensive Hozon Neta ever made is the Neta S Yaoshi. This was a special edition of the widely available Neta S, with only 999 copies made. The car had all-wheel drive and the motors produced 462 horsepower combined. The car also had 650 km of range.
The limited edition model was unveiled in 2021 during the 2021 Shanghai Auto Show in April. During the launch, the model was sold for 338,000 RMB which is equivalent to $50,940, making it the most expensive Hozon Neta to date.

Neta cars are manufactured in China. So, obviously, they cost less in China compared to anywhere else in the world. For example, the Neta V sells for 549,000 Baht in Thailand.

History of Hozon Neta
Hozon Auto, the company behind the Neta brand and all its cars was founded in 2014 in Zhejiang province China. The co-founders of the company are Beijing Sinohytech and Zhejiang Yangtze Delta Region Institute of Tsinghua University.
The Company behind Neta, Hozon Auto was co-founded by Zhang Yong, and he’s currently serving as the CEO. Another influential figure in the company is Fang Yonzhou.
Fang was involved with Cherry Automobile at the start of his career, before moving on to its newly established energy development.
After being established in 2014, Neta launched its first automobile in 2018. The model was the Neta N01 hatchback. This was a basic city car with no fancy electronics. It had a small battery that gave the car 300 km of range and was powered by a single 55 kW motor.

Where Are Neta Cars Made?
The main manufacturing plant of Neta is in Zheijang, China. The manufacturing is done by Zhejiang Hezhong New Energy Automobile Company. Recently, Neta has also started manufacturing cars overseas.
Their first overseas plant is in Khan Na Yao, Bangkok, Thailand. Production officially started on November 30th, 2023. The production facility is expected to reach its peak efficiency by the end of January 2024.

Neta U
The Neta U is a compact crossover SUV with a modern and attractive design. The SUV was first launched in April 2019 during the 2019 Shanghai Auto Show.
Pre-sale prices during the event ranged between 150,000 to 210,000RMB (~US21,698 – US$30,377). The design of the SUV is quite simple. With a focus on sleek shapes and clean lines, it adds a stylish and modern touch that enhances its aesthetic appeal.
The interior of the Neta U matches the commitment to style and quality you see in the exterior. The luxury infotainment system comes equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8155 chipset, blending luxury design with top-of-the-line technology.
You also get adjustable rear seats, footrests for passengers in the back, wireless charging, and extra storage and cup holders.
The Neta U comes with a single motor positioned up at the front. The motor produces an equivalent of 163 horsepower. This is coupled with a 58 kWh battery which gives the SUV a 400 km range on a full charge.

Neta U Pro
The Neta U Pro is basically the better version of the Neta U. It comes with a powerful motor and a longer range. The interior and the exterior of the Neta U Pro are quite similar to the Neta U. This price for this model starts at $27,100.
The Neta U Pro shares the same motor configuration with a single motor on the front axle. But the motor on the U Pro is more powerful producing an equivalent of 231 horsepower.
This is coupled with an 81.7 kWh battery which gives the Neta U Pro an effective range of 610 km according to NEDC testing.
Neta V
The Neta V recently renamed as the Neta Aya, is 5 door subcompact crossover SUV. It has a modern and minimalistic design.
The face of the Neta Aya features a unique design of headlights which Neta calls, “Hawkeye Laser Headlights”. You also get similar running lights along with laser-engraved tail lights and break lights.
The interior also features advanced technological features. Similar to the Tesla Model 3, the Neta Aya features a 14.6-inch tablet-style, touchscreen infotainment system along with a horizontal 12-inch digital instrument cluster. The interior also has synthetic leather seats and a leather-covered steering wheel for that premium feel.
Similar to the Neta U and Neta U Pro, the Neta Aya also uses a single motor mounted on the front axle. The motor is a 55 kW motor which produces 73.75 horsepower.
The battery that powers the motor is a 31.54 kWh lithium-ion battery which gives the Neta Aya 301 km of range. On a DC power outlet, you should be able to get up to 80% charge in under 30 minutes.

Neta V Pro
The Neta V Pro is slightly smaller than the Neta V with a smaller width of 1,690mm as opposed to the Neta V’s wheelbase of 1,770mm.
Neta V Pro comes with all the top-tier safety features like Adaptive Cruise System (ACC), Forward Collision Warning (FCW), Automatic Emergency Braking system (AEB), Lane Departure Warning (LDW), and more that you normally don’t see on a compact SUV at this price range.
The design and interior of the Neta V Pro are almost as same as the Neta V. The differences between the two are visible in the drivetrain.
The Neta V Pro has a slightly more powerful 70 kW motor which produces an equivalent of 94 horsepower. It comes with the same 38.54 kWh battery.
However, due to a much more efficient setup with active liquid cooling, you are still able to get the same 401km range.

Neta X
The Neta X is the latest creation from Hozon Neta and was launched on October 18th, 2023. The Neta X, also known as the Neta Nezha is a compact SUV. It copies the exact design of the Neta U in the back.
The front adopts a closed grill design with split headlights. You also get blacked-out sections on the front and the sides of the car to give the Neta X a sporty look.
The interior is where the Neta X takes a huge turn from the Neta U. The interior is much more luxurious and it also has a floating 15.6-inch center control screen.
The use of physical buttons is minimized as a lot of the controls are transferred to the center screen which is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chipset. The center console also comes with a wireless charging pad.
Just like most other Neta vehicles, the Neta X also features a single front-mounted motor. This motor has a peak power output of 120 kW and a maximum torque of 210 Nm.
The Neta X comes with 2 different battery options with the longer range model giving you a maximum range of 501 km on a full charge.

Neta S
The Neta S was launched in April 2021 during the 2021 Shanghai Auto Show. This is a mid-sized sedan in the Hozon Neta lineup. Whether it is performance or looks, the Neta S delivers on all levels.
On the exterior, the Neta S has a sloped roof line with what Neta describes it “cat whiskers” LED lights. It has a smooth look on the sides, especially with those pop-out door handles.
On the front end, you’d see edgy triangular intakes and lower, wider diamond grille intake. The full beam lightbar and flared-out edges at the back end give the Neta S a purposeful look.
The interior of the Neta S is plush, with heavy use of leather, Alcantara, and woodgrain. There are pretty much zero buttons in the center console as everything is controlled by a 17.6-inch center control screen, which also operates on voice control.
The car also comes with a 12.3-inch passenger screen. For your music, the Neta S with fitted with 21 speakers which are spread around the interior of the car.
When looking at the performance, the Neta S can go from 0-100 in under 4 seconds. The most powerful version of the Neta S comes with two electric motors which can produce 340 kW of power combined.

Neta GT
The Neta GT is Hozon’s interpretation of a sports car. It comes with 2 doors and a 4-seater setup. It comes with slanted headlights upfront and retractable door handles for better aerodynamics.
The suspension is finely tuned for increased maneuverability and comfort. To get those impressive performance numbers, Neta has incorporated “Launch Mode” into the GT.
To quote Neta, “ In the launch mode, Neta GT preloads the torque and enables the maximum acceleration. Combined with the instruments, atmosphere lights, simulated sound waves, and so on, it provides the driver with an all-round fresh and launching-like start.”
