Zeekr 001 is the first electric vehicle from Geely that was released in October 2021. The car claims to be the world’s first mass-produced EV shooting brake.

However, in September 2023, Zeekr broke the incredible news of the Zeekr 001 FR, the model with quad motors with a total output of 931 kW (1,248 hp).

It also has track-level brakes and suspensions, carbon fiber parts, and a tank turn mode, enabling the driver to turn 360 degrees with the car. The car is also built on an 800V platform with a 100 kWh CATL Qilin battery.

Driving

What is It Like to Drive?

The Zeekr 001 cockpit layout resembles the Tesla Model S since the infotainment screen extends on the dashboard. The car accelerates from 0 to 100 km per hour in just 3.8 seconds. Its top speed is limited to 200 km, and you can achieve it in less than 10 seconds.

You’ll notice the Zeekr 001 handling is on another level compared to most electric cars. The car handles very well and remains stable even when negotiating corners at a higher speed.
